In July 2016 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Jamaican Scenes by Noël Coward. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,564.65), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Noël Coward achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The View from Firefly in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 60,486.69).

Im Juli 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jamaican Scenes von Noël Coward zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.564,65) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Noël Coward erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The View from Firefly im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 60.486,69).
