Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Brighton Beach by Noël Coward was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,804.15). Admittedly, works by Noël Coward have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The View from Firefly in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 60,486.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Brighton Beach von Noël Coward kam im November 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.804,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Noël Coward auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The View from Firefly im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 60.486,69).
