This artwork by Noël Coward achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2015. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Lac Léman, Switzerland sold for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 15,553.72) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Noël Coward - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The View from Firefly, which sold at auction in March 2015 for GBP 43,750.00 (€ 60,486.69).

In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Lac Léman, Switzerland für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 15.553,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Noël Coward mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The View from Firefly beobachtet, die im März 2015 für GBP 43.750,00 (€ 60.486,69) versteigert wurde.
