Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Noël Coward could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Jamaican Coastline with Red Roof Shack changed hands for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,279.06) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Noël Coward - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The View from Firefly, which sold at auction in March 2015 for GBP 43,750.00 (€ 60,486.69).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Noël Coward konnte im Juli 2016 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wechselte die Arbeit Jamaican Coastline with Red Roof Shack für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.279,06) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00.
