It achieved a price of GBP 763.75 (€ 998.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry George Rushbury - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hotel Bretonvilliers, Paris, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,083.66).
