Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2000 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Summer Evening, Paris by Henry George Rushbury. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 940.00 (€ 1,508.35), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Henry George Rushbury have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,083.66) in June 2006 for the work Hotel Bretonvilliers, Paris.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Summer Evening, Paris von Henry George Rushbury zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 940,00 (€ 1.508,35) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Henry George Rushbury haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.083,66) im Juni 2006 für die Arbeit Hotel Bretonvilliers, Paris beobachtet.
