This artwork by Henry George Rushbury achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2003. In the British & Continental Watercolours including Original Book auction, the work Durham sold for GBP 916.50 (€ 1,298.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 400.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henry George Rushbury; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hotel Bretonvilliers, Paris sold at auction in June 2006 with the realized price of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,083.66).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Henry George Rushbury erzielte im Dezember 2003 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British & Continental Watercolours including Original Book wurde die Arbeit Durham für GBP 916,50 (€ 1.298,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00.
