This artwork by Henry George Rushbury achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2003. In the British & Continental Watercolours including Original Book auction, the work Antwerp sold for GBP 705.00 (€ 998.54) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 400.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry George Rushbury - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hotel Bretonvilliers, Paris, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,083.66).

In der Auktion British & Continental Watercolours including Original Book wurde die Arbeit Antwerp für GBP 705,00 (€ 998,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Henry George Rushbury mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hotel Bretonvilliers, Paris beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.083,66) versteigert wurde.
