In June 2004 Christies in London held the auction IMPORTANT BRITISH AND IRISH ART, which included the work The Child Miranda 'The isle is full of noises, Sounds, and sweet airs, that give delight, and hurt not'- Tempest by Frederic William Burton. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 206,850.00 (€ 307,854.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate.
