Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life (Clematis, Kniphofia And Hollyhock) by Cedric Morris was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 36,695.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cedric Morris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poppies in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 131,000.00 (€ 149,184.56).
