The work Spring Flowers by Cedric Morris was sold in the Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in November 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,892.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Admittedly, works by Cedric Morris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poppies in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 131,000.00 (€ 149,184.56).

Die Arbeit Spring Flowers von Cedric Morris wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.892,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cedric Morris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poppies im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.000,00 (€ 149.184,56).
