Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Shomei Tomatsu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (series 'Chewing Gum and Chocolate, Yokosuka'), 1958 sold at auction in November last year with the realized price of EUR 37,800.00.
