In October 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction A Constant Pursuit: Photographs from the Collection of Ed Cohen & Victoria Shaw, which included the work Angel Shattered by the Atomic Bomb at Urakami Cathedral, Nagasaki from Nagasaki 11:02 by Shomei Tomatsu. The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,294.74) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shomei Tomatsu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (series 'Chewing Gum and Chocolate, Yokosuka'), 1958 in November last year with an auction result of EUR 37,800.00.

Im Oktober 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion A Constant Pursuit: Photographs from the Collection of Ed Cohen & Victoria Shaw durch, in der auch die Arbeit Angel Shattered by the Atomic Bomb at Urakami Cathedral, Nagasaki from Nagasaki 11:02 von Shomei Tomatsu zur Versteigerung kam.
