Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lampe À Poser "S-473" Dite "Ghost" - 1972 by Shirō Kuramata was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June 2011. The price achieved of EUR 574.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shirō Kuramata achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Miss Blanche' chair in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,240,000.00 (€ 255,777.86).

Die Arbeit Lampe À Poser "S-473" Dite "Ghost" - 1972 von Shirō Kuramata kam im Juni 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 574,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shirō Kuramata erzielen.
