Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Farewell Premier Zhou by Sheng Qi for GBP 693.00 (€ 774.14). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sheng Qi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Left Hand in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 19,200.00 (€ 28,686.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Farewell Premier Zhou von Sheng Qi für GBP 693,00 (€ 774,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sheng Qi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Left Hand im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.200,00 (€ 28.686,51).
