Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Memories (Me) by Sheng Qi was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,470.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sheng Qi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Left Hand in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 19,200.00 (€ 28,686.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Memories (Me) von Sheng Qi kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.470,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sheng Qi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Left Hand im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.200,00 (€ 28.686,51).
