Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sheng Qi could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in July last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Heatwave: Online Auction auction, the work National Parade - Tank (Red & Black) changed hands for GBP 1,008.00 (€ 1,203.73) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sheng Qi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Left Hand in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 19,200.00 (€ 28,686.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sheng Qi konnte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit National Parade - Tank (Red & Black) für GBP 1.008,00 (€ 1.203,73) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sheng Qi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Left Hand im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.200,00 (€ 28.686,51).
