Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pavilion in Pine Forest by Shen Zongjing was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 4,073.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Zongjing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes after Yuan Masters in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,187,500.00 (€ 127,852.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pavilion in Pine Forest von Shen Zongjing kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 4.073,00) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Zongjing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes after Yuan Masters im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.187.500,00 (€ 127.852,37).
