Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Landscape by Shen Zongjing was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The auction ended at the price of HKD 120,000.00 (€ 12,053.30), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Zongjing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes after Yuan Masters in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,187,500.00 (€ 127,852.37).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Landscape von Shen Zongjing kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 120.000,00 (€ 12.053,30) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Zongjing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes after Yuan Masters im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.187.500,00 (€ 127.852,37).
