Auction result well in line with expectations
The work River-C-25 by Shen Fan was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 20,590.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by Shen Fan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2015 the work 1991-M-3 was auctioned for CNY 200,000.00 (€ 28,883.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit River-C-25 von Shen Fan wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 20.590,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Shen Fan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2015 die Arbeit 1991-M-3 für CNY 200.000,00 (€ 28.883,71) versteigert.
