Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Happy-P-11C by Shen Fan. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,557.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Fan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 1991-M-3, which sold at auction in April 2015 for CNY 200,000.00 (€ 28,883.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Happy-P-11C von Shen Fan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.557,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Fan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 1991-M-3 beobachtet, die im April 2015 für CNY 200.000,00 (€ 28.883,71) versteigert wurde.
