Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Selected Images by Shelby Lee Adams was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2010. The price achieved of USD 3,125.00 (€ 2,249.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Shelby Lee Adams have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August last year the work Leddie and Children was auctioned for USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,546.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Selected Images von Shelby Lee Adams kam im Oktober 2010 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.125,00 (€ 2.249,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Shelby Lee Adams konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im August letzten Jahres die Arbeit Leddie and Children für USD 3.570,00 (€ 3.546,94) versteigert.
