Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Sheikh Mohammed Sultan was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2016. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,668.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sheikh Mohammed Sultan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Farmers) in March this year with an auction result of USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,589.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sheikh Mohammed Sultan kam im September 2016 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.668,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sheikh Mohammed Sultan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Farmers) im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.600,00 (€ 11.589,40).
