Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Untitled (Farmer ploughing with bulls) by Sheikh Mohammed Sultan. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,865.00 (€ 6,899.61), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by Sheikh Mohammed Sultan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,589.40) in March this year for the work Untitled (Farmers).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Farmer ploughing with bulls) von Sheikh Mohammed Sultan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.865,00 (€ 6.899,61) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Sheikh Mohammed Sultan haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.600,00 (€ 11.589,40) im März diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Untitled (Farmers) beobachtet.
