Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Kashmir Landscape) by Sheikh Mohammed Sultan was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 2,560.00 (€ 2,966.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sheikh Mohammed Sultan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Farmers), which sold at auction in March this year for USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,589.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Kashmir Landscape) von Sheikh Mohammed Sultan kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.560,00 (€ 2.966,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sheikh Mohammed Sultan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Farmers) beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für USD 12.600,00 (€ 11.589,40) versteigert wurde.
