This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shaina McCoy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Baubles, Barrettes & Beads, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 81,900.00 (€ 76,320.94).
