Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Totem cornu lézard by Seni Awa Camara was sold in the Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain auction at Bonhams in Paris in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,825.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Seni Awa Camara - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 10,710.00 (€ 12,688.46).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.825,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
