A top price for Sergei Bratkov - as previously expected
In April 2008 Phillips in London held the auction Vanmoerkerke Collection, which included the work '+' & '-' (from the series Militain Relay Race) by Sergei Bratkov. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 11,155.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, '+' & '-' (from the series Militain Relay Race) is the most expensive artwork by Sergei Bratkov that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2008 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Vanmoerkerke Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit '+' & '-' (from the series Militain Relay Race) von Sergei Bratkov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 11.155,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist '+' & '-' (from the series Militain Relay Race) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sergei Bratkov, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
