Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kostya 1 And Kostya 2 by Sergei Bratkov was sold in the Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,244.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergei Bratkov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work '+' & '-' (from the series Militain Relay Race), which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 11,155.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kostya 1 And Kostya 2 von Sergei Bratkov wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.244,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
