Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Iizaka, Anabara, 1947 by Junichiro Sekino was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2006. It achieved a price of USD 1,800.00 (€ 1,482.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Junichiro Sekino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yoshida Bungoro, which sold at auction in March 2001 for USD 3,525.00 (€ 4,008.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Iizaka, Anabara, 1947 von Junichiro Sekino kam im März 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.800,00 (€ 1.482,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Junichiro Sekino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yoshida Bungoro beobachtet, die im März 2001 für USD 3.525,00 (€ 4.008,41) versteigert wurde.
