Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Four Oversized Woodblock Prints by Junichiro Sekino was auctioned at Bonhams in London in September this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,536.00 (€ 1,451.25). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Junichiro Sekino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yoshida Bungoro, which sold at auction in March 2001 for USD 3,525.00 (€ 4,008.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Four Oversized Woodblock Prints von Junichiro Sekino kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.536,00 (€ 1.451,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Junichiro Sekino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yoshida Bungoro beobachtet, die im März 2001 für USD 3.525,00 (€ 4.008,41) versteigert wurde.
