Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale, which included the work The Melody of the Rain by Sedaghat Jabbari. The price achieved of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 48,741.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sedaghat Jabbari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Divine Names in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 433,000.00 (€ 299,281.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Melody of the Rain von Sedaghat Jabbari zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 48.741,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sedaghat Jabbari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Divine Names im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 433.000,00 (€ 299.281,17).
