In April 2008 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Circumambulation of Mecca (Pilgrimage) by Sedaghat Jabbari. The »bidding war« ended at USD 121,000.00 (€ 77,723.54), 73% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sedaghat Jabbari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Divine Names, which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 433,000.00 (€ 299,281.17).

Im April 2008 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Circumambulation of Mecca (Pilgrimage) von Sedaghat Jabbari zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 121.000,00 (€ 77.723,54) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Sedaghat Jabbari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Divine Names beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für USD 433.000,00 (€ 299.281,17) versteigert wurde.
