Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Four Gardens by Sedaghat Jabbari was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in April 2008. The price achieved of USD 133,000.00 (€ 85,431.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sedaghat Jabbari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Divine Names, which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 433,000.00 (€ 299,281.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Four Gardens von Sedaghat Jabbari wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 133.000,00 (€ 85.431,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sedaghat Jabbari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Divine Names beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für USD 433.000,00 (€ 299.281,17) versteigert wurde.
