Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphic Forms by Sedaghat Jabbari was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 20,250.00 (€ 23,596.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sedaghat Jabbari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Divine Names in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 433,000.00 (€ 299,281.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphic Forms von Sedaghat Jabbari kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 20.250,00 (€ 23.596,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sedaghat Jabbari erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Divine Names im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 433.000,00 (€ 299.281,17).
