Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Charity by Sebastiano Ricci was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2019. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 44,320.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sebastiano Ricci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Time revealing Truth in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 2,448,000.00 (€ 1,792,093.70).

Die Arbeit Charity von Sebastiano Ricci kam im Dezember 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 44.320,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sebastiano Ricci erzielen.
