Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work The Holy Family by Sebastiano Ricci for GBP 19,125.00 (€ 21,590.26). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sebastiano Ricci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Time revealing Truth in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 2,448,000.00 (€ 1,792,093.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Holy Family von Sebastiano Ricci für GBP 19.125,00 (€ 21.590,26) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sebastiano Ricci erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Time revealing Truth im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.448.000,00 (€ 1.792.093,70).
