Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Total Lunar Eclipse, from the 'Vera List Anniversary Print Portfolio' by Sarah Morris was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 765.00 (€ 912.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sarah Morris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Paradigm (Los Angeles)" in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 126,438.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Total Lunar Eclipse, from the 'Vera List Anniversary Print Portfolio' von Sarah Morris kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 765,00 (€ 912,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sarah Morris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Paradigm (Los Angeles)" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 126.438,00.
