Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Issey Miyake, 1992 by Sarah Moon was sold in the Photographies auction at Christies in Paris in November 2020. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,125.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sarah Moon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fashion 4, Yohji Yamamoto, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 32,197.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Issey Miyake, 1992 von Sarah Moon wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Photographies bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Sarah Moon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fashion 4, Yohji Yamamoto beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 32.197,13) versteigert wurde.
