It achieved a price of EUR 88,200.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Santiago Rusiñol i Prats - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Glorieta de cipreses del Jardín del Príncipe, Aranjuez (The gardens at Aranjuez), which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 216,000.00 (€ 320,533.14).
