Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Spanish la Fuente De Los Cipreses (The Cypress Fountain) by Santiago Rusiñol i Prats for GBP 67,250.00 (€ 78,507.49). This price was achieved in the auction European Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Santiago Rusiñol i Prats have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Glorieta de cipreses del Jardín del Príncipe, Aranjuez (The gardens at Aranjuez) in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 216,000.00 (€ 320,533.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Spanish la Fuente De Los Cipreses (The Cypress Fountain) von Santiago Rusiñol i Prats für GBP 67.250,00 (€ 78.507,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Santiago Rusiñol i Prats auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Glorieta de cipreses del Jardín del Príncipe, Aranjuez (The gardens at Aranjuez) im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 216.000,00 (€ 320.533,14).
