Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Spanish el Valle, Soller (View Over Soller) by Santiago Rusiñol i Prats. It changed hands for a price of GBP 241,250.00 (€ 275,870.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by Santiago Rusiñol i Prats have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work Glorieta de cipreses del Jardín del Príncipe, Aranjuez (The gardens at Aranjuez) was auctioned for GBP 216,000.00 (€ 320,533.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish el Valle, Soller (View Over Soller) von Santiago Rusiñol i Prats zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 241.250,00 (€ 275.870,11) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 180.000,00 – 250.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Santiago Rusiñol i Prats konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2007 die Arbeit Glorieta de cipreses del Jardín del Príncipe, Aranjuez (The gardens at Aranjuez) für GBP 216.000,00 (€ 320.533,14) versteigert.
