Admittedly, works by Santi di Tito have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a gentleman, three-quarter-length, in a black embroidered silk doublet and cloak, with a ruff, holding gloves and a letter in his left hand, a lute on the table in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 158,500.00 (€ 224,699.76).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.106,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Santi di Tito auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of a gentleman, three-quarter-length, in a black embroidered silk doublet and cloak, with a ruff, holding gloves and a letter in his left hand, a lute on the table im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 158.500,00 (€ 224.699,76).
