Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 461,000.00 (€ 408,325.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sano di Pietro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Madonna And Child; Saint John The Baptist; Saint Jerome: A Portable Triptych, which sold at auction in May 2018 for USD 1,635,000.00 (€ 1,401,028.28).
