Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Saint Jerome; Saint Anthony Of Padua by Sano di Pietro was sold in the Master Paintings Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 225,000.00 (€ 207,717.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Sano di Pietro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Madonna And Child; Saint John The Baptist; Saint Jerome: A Portable Triptych in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,635,000.00 (€ 1,401,028.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Saint Jerome; Saint Anthony Of Padua von Sano di Pietro wurde im Januar 2016 in der Auktion Master Paintings Evening Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 207.717,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
