In January 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings & Sculpture, which included the work Madonna And Child With Angels by Sano di Pietro. Admittedly, works by Sano di Pietro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Madonna And Child; Saint John The Baptist; Saint Jerome: A Portable Triptych in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,635,000.00 (€ 1,401,028.28).
