Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Samuel Bak was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2021. The price achieved of USD 2,772.00 (€ 2,449.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Samuel Bak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Flag in December 2016 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,169.07).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Samuel Bak kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.772,00 (€ 2.449,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Samuel Bak erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Flag im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.169,07).
