Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Search for a Rose by Samuel Bak was auctioned at Sothebys in Cologne in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,820.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Samuel Bak - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Flag, which sold at auction in December 2016 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,169.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Search for a Rose von Samuel Bak kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in Köln zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.820,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Samuel Bak mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue Flag beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.169,07) versteigert wurde.
