A top price for Samir Rafi
This artwork by Samir Rafi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2019. In the Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 87,500.00 (€ 101,493.72) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Samir Rafi that we have observed at auctions so far.
