This artwork by Samir Rafi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November this year. In the Marhala: Highlights from the Dalloul Collection auction, the work Ma jolie et moi (My darling and I) sold for GBP 22,680.00 (€ 26,281.19) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Samir Rafi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 87,500.00 (€ 101,493.72).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Samir Rafi erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Marhala: Highlights from the Dalloul Collection wurde die Arbeit Ma jolie et moi (My darling and I) für GBP 22.680,00 (€ 26.281,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Samir Rafi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 87.500,00 (€ 101.493,72) versteigert wurde.
